Average titles per user
Average titles per user/device is a new metric added to Content Sheet within Content Insights.
New metric 1:
Average titles per user – Looking at the number of titles/assets consumed by a household provides a good indication of how long viewers are spending on your platform and more importantly how engaged they are with content on the platform.
Calculation: We look at average titles consumed per household and average that number across the base. Hence, this number is a mean of means.
New metric 2:
Average titles per device – Understanding average titles consumed per device allows the user to understand how viewing behaviour (notably binge watching) varies by device and is higher on some devices over others.
Calculation: We look at average titles consumed per device group and average that number across the base. Hence, this number is a mean of means.
To enable further analysis, breakdown of the average titles is provided across session types so that the user can compare how this metric varies between Linear, VOD etc.
