Operating System (OS) targeting in Synamedia Iris Ad Manager refers to delivering video ads to specific operating systems and OS versions. By customizing video ad campaigns to target users based on the OS they use to access online content, advertisers can optimize ad delivery and effectively reach their desired audience.
The OS targeting feature is supported in both programmatic and direct campaigns in Synamedia Iris Ad Manager, thus offering flexibility and customization options for your advertising campaigns.
Note: The OS Targeting feature is currently available with Campaign V2 APIs only.
Synamedia Iris Ad Manager provides two levels of OS targeting:
Targeting Specific OS: Choose one or more type of OS that you wish to target. This enables you to focus your video ad campaign on users who use a particular OS.
Targeting Specific OS Versions: Alternatively, you can select one or more specific versions of an OS in addition to the OS itself. This level of targeting further refines your audience by focusing on users who use specific versions of an OS.
Exclusion Options: In addition to targeting specific OS or versions, you can also exclude certain OS or OS versions from your targeting. This feature proves useful if you want to avoid delivering video ads to users who employ specific OS or versions that do not align with your campaign goals.
By utilizing the OS Targeting feature in Iris Ad Manager, you can effectively reach your desired audience by tailoring your campaigns to specific OS or OS versions.
